If all you heard was the MP3's that were distributed....

I, like most people here, probably grabbed the first downloads that you could find. I burned it to disc
listened to them at home and in the car. I bought the real disc on 5/23 but never listened to it on a good
system. I played it once on a crappy system.Then I have listened to the MP3s through Winamp, Real Player, MS Media player, etc.
I brought both discs to a friend's house today. He has a decent system and we listened to my burned disc. He thought the album
sounds good, but the drums are weird and the album just seems "muddy". We drank a couple beers, talked about other stuff, then
I had an idea. I put the "genuine" disc in and all of a sudden, he's like, WHAT THE FUCK? I know what happened. Do you?

When you play this album from the actual disc it stands heads and shoulders above what was downloaded for free. :shock:

I fucking hated COH from the outset. Deen's drums rule that song and it is crystal clear.
Very cinamatic, big album, built for big places.
