Maybe Eclipse has toe tappers, but just toward the back?

Maybe the fact that the toe tappers like SOmeone and Anything Is Possible as well as the AC potential hit She's A Mystery are getting lost in the shuffle because they aren't in the usual positions for the "hits".

Usually you lead off with a toe tapping, hummable, easy to get song...you don't get that on Eclipse until track #5....

They think City of Hope is..but it doesn't work for many of us at all. Even those of us who love it. It's not bad, but its a #2 at best.

I think I read something from Neal (or heard an interview) where he said they did that on purpose (put the poppy stuff more toward the end.)

He did say that in that interview where he talked about the Gibson fallout that was posted a few threads down. His rationale was that it starts you off with something "fresh" before putting you back on more familiar footing with the likes of AIP.

I actually love the placement of Anything is Possible. I really like it right before Resonate. I don't really know why, but it works for me. And Someone is a nice ending to the album as far as the last song with vocals. The vibe of the song really ends the album on a nice note before going into Neal's instrumental.
