Heard from an extremely reliable source that Journey are to play 4 songs from the new album on the UK leg of the tour.
However, unsure as to which 4.
Hoping they will be...
Resonate
Chain of love
Anything is possible
She's a mystery
More than likely though they will be...
City of hope
Edge of the moment
Resonate
Human feel
Roll on Sunday.
Full review of the show will follow.

Bingo. Neal, if you're reading this, this is your strongest setlist from Eclipse for tour. All fantastic, great concert catchy songs. Please ditch City of Hope and Human Feel and do these four. Thank you.

Well Foreigner's playing right now. Hopefully we'll know what they played within a few hours. Would love to hear them play some Arrival/Revelation stuff on this tour.

They've only got 90 minutes. That's gotta be tough to get some new stuff in and keep the fans happy with the classics too.
Since they are the last on stage, could they play longer if they wanted to?

The trucks need to be packed, the venue prepped for the next's day's activities. Just like here in the states, (and like Steve Perry used to tell these guys) 'Let's roll, let's roll, time's money, time's money."

The crappy amphitheater in Dallas, what is it now, Gexa Energy Pavilion? Used to be Star Plex, but as soon as the show was over in '08, they were ushering us out of there. I was trying to visit with Michigan Girl, and they were basically telling us to get out.

Setlist for Wembley Arena, 06/04/11:
Separate Ways
Only The Young
Edge Of The Moment
Ask The Lonely
Send Her My Love
Resonate
Stone In Love
City Of Hope
Lights
Mother, Father (Deen)
Open Arms
Chain Of Love
Wheel In The Sky
Be Good To Yourself
Faithfully
Don't Stop Believin'
Any Way You Want It
--Encore--
Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'
This is a pretty solid setlist, in my opinion. Especially the first seven or eight songs. I think it's key that they open with a couple of well known songs when following Night Ranger and Foreigner this summer. Never Walk Away was a good song on the Revelation Tour, but not enough people knew it to make it a solid opener following two good bands and a lot of hype as the lights went down before Journey's set. They need to start with SW and OTL/Ask The Lonely before going into a new song. Gives them time to intro the new album, too.

Thank you for that! Look at Arnel taking liberties with the song. Great to see.

I guess that 'Platinum' album they just did wasn't that memorable.
Dropping Human Feel was a no brainer, it didn't even make it to the end of the Latin America Tour.
Surprised they didnt do any Augeri era songs as he was pretty popular over their during his tenure with the band.

Really wish they would drop Stone in love and Lovin touchin squeezin. They've been overplayed for far too many years now. So many songs they could choose from.

Looks like the crowd got what it was looking for. There's a reason the Greatest Hits is the highest charting album over there since Frontiers. Play what your audience is paying to hear and all will be well. Very happy for you UK fans who are getting three great groups on one ticket.

Checking the tweets, all three bands are getting very positive reviews. We expected it for Journey and Foreigner but nice to see Styx getting a lot of love too. Looks like the promoters knew what they were doing putting these three acts together.

Not a boring or off moment from any of the three bands

Reading a complaint about the sound, that it was fine for Styx but that Foreigner and Journey acoustics weren't great.
Can you comment on that?

One funny comment.
"Inside Wembley Arena- Old folk listening to Journey
Outside- Young kids skateboarding, listening to the Doors"

Yeah the sound for styx was great, foreigner and journey less so. They obviously. boost the volume when the main acts come on and it did muddle the sound early in the set. No big issue though imo if you have to have perfect sound at all times, stay home and listen to the Cd
