An artistic Journey

Regardless of all the personal likes and dislikes of this band, I find personally that they are still and always will be one of my favorites if not my very favorite.

I am pleased they are journeying on and continuing to experiment with their art. Seriously folks, regardless of our personal preferences they are artists first. They give you what they have worked hard over and hope you will like their work as much as they do.

Not everyone likes Picasso. But that never stopped him from doing what he loved to do in the way he loves to do it. Seriously I would not like to do art that appealed to people because it was "purty". Really folks in all honesty they would grow to hate what is just radio friendly all the time. That is like asking an artist to make something purty to go over your couch. This kind of art is a dime a dozen and has no soul. Most people ignore it outright.

Music is much like that. You have different emotions, feelings, and sounds you want to play with. The hamstringing of a musician is to force him to do the same thing over and over and over.

I applaud the artists who remain true to their art. Regardless of what others think. They are true artists, not brown nosers.
