Here's the setlist from last night in Glasgow.
Few changes in sequence of the songs from previous nights in England.

Seperate Ways
Only The Young
Edge Of The Moment
Ask The Lonely
Send Her My Love
Stone In Love
City Of Hope
Lights
Tantra
Open Arms
Chain Of Love
Wheel In The Sky
Be Good To Yourself
Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'
Faithfully
Don't Stop Believin'

ENCORE
Any Way You Want It

No Resonate last night which I would have preferred to have heard over Edge Of The Moment (on which Arnel forgot the words 1st verse)
Best song on Eclipse for me so far.

There were a few sound issues to start off with, this is a recurring theme so think Journey need to huckle their sound engineer as it's taking 3-4 songs before Journey's sound gets up to the standard that Foreigner set throughout their performance beforehand.

No Resonate? Are they insane? It's one of the top two songs on the album, if not the best. Take out Tantra and put back on Resonate.

Take out City of Hope and put Resonate back on the setlist. Tantra isn't for everyone, but I'd much rather deal with Tantra than City of Hope personally.

Oops. I looked twice and never saw City of Hope in the setlist. I must be going blind. Absolutely. I could care less about hearing City of Hope live and really enjoy Tantra. I agree with you. Take out City of Hope.

Aside from having the sweet past of it being about Arnel's hometown, I really don't see what the band sees in City of Hope. It's decent, but nothing special.

Resonate is such a fantastic song. 8) Definitely the best song they've written in a long time IMO.

Add "Higher Place", "Suzanne", and either "Feeling That Way/Anytime" or "Just the Same Way."

Suzanne? really? Man, to me that song is so dated because of the keyboards and keyboard bass. I DID like Girl Can't Help it because of those harmonies, but I guess Neal hates that one. The other ones, would be great. Or something from Revelation. Something from Revelation because Journey keeps talking about how Arnel's version IS the future. Fine, so they need to stand on those songs too. Songs like Lovin Touchin Squeezin... I mean, if we are burned out on some of those old ones, think how Journey feels playing that EVERY SINGLE SHOW SINCE 1978. Wow. That'd be tough for any band to play songs over and over for that many years. They should create 2 or 3 completely different sets and alternate them. There are a few songs that're different from night to night, but usually only 1 or 2.

Any Way You Want It
Edge Of The Blade
Only The Young
Edge Of The Moment

Resonate
After The Fall
Chain Of Love
Wheel In The Sky
Who's Cryin' Now
Never Walk Away

Separate Ways

I'm tired of hearing Separate Ways as the first song because the sound is ALWAYS fucked up! Move it the encore and let your fans hear it with the opening sound kinks (hopefully) worked out! Ending with those 2 songs will leave the audience rocked and rolled. :)

Take Chain of love and put in Somebody or Tantra and you got it.

COL doesn't do much for me. Ritual is such a better song. Put that one in!
However, I've seen most people aren't digging that one.

How about they fix the sound? Even on the venue board they are taking heat. The "Special Guests" are getting higher marks than the closer in half of the reviews.

Neal's extended solo when they played it in 2004, was amazing. People forget that Suzanne charted back in the day. Not sure why it's omitted from the GH cds. It's a great tune and deserves more respect.

I was listening to Captured the other day here at work...

Why not have some fun and replace crap like Open Arms & LTS
with classics like Where Were You, Just The Same Way,
Or DIXIE-FUCKING-HIGHWAY? :-)
Welcome to Terminus... You hungry?

I agree TNC...and this is blaspemy I know, but the Deen sang Suzanne sounded much better than the Espee version. [ducking]....Neal's guitar work in 2004 WAS 100% better than the 86 times.

One last comment. How in the world, can a band desire to be taken seriously, and as a valid big time act, only play 19 songs? That is a joke. Do what you have to do to increase the setlist to 22-23 songs. If that old fucker Bruce at 61, can do 33 songs, Journey and the new King can do 23! That would gall the shit out of me if I went to their show and got a measley 19 songs. Live a little for FFS! Get rid of one of the two openers! Tha too is embarrassing. Three bands....how cheap is that shit? Send Night Ranger to the local Swedish fish market and let them play to their 14 fans in Stockholm.

TOTALLY.

TNC- as far as 'what charted' and 'what was a hit'= I could care less. "Mr. Roboto" was a big hit for Styx. If it was played at a show, I'd definitely have to go for the bathroom break. For me, the 'hit' songs are usually the worst.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Journey shut off the blogs on their official site. Everything is about the sound and a few scattered comments about Foreigner.
Now that the UK part of the tour is over, will be interesting to hear how things go at some of these outdoor festivals.

I don't know how many are bandwagon comments but it's definitely a lot of different members and centered on more than one venue.

I don't understand the love for Tantra. It seems like they are jamming it into a sort of ballad slot and it's kind of a band hobby horse. I think it's a so-so song and way outclassed by She's A Mystery.

I also would drop Send Her My Love...maybe put Resonate in that slot for those people who want it in (it seems like a weird slot too, in between two more up tempo songs...Resonate seems to have some way strong luvin' on the board, which I also don't get, but okay)...Mother, Father may work better there.

Also, I'm probably the only person I've seen on here who actually likes Human Feel, so go figure...de gustibus...lol

Sure it is....Azoff can simply ask them if they want a three headed monster on tour and play less songs or a 2 headed monster.

Don't you agree that 19 songs is weak for a headliner?

Total night and day situation. Burce practically groans his way through his set. It's not like that schmaltz taxes the 61 year old vocal chords. Case in point - pink cadillac - gah!

Have another drink loser. He might be one of the best live singers today. You are completely clueless. Whatever.

I would love to see Pineda try to sing The River, or Thunder Road.....Good luck with that, AP.

Oh BTW, Pink Cadillac is better than any song Pineda has ever written. owned.
