He cracks me up.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

That's how Deen is ALL the time...lol. He's like a little kid...and I don't say that insultingly. He's got an incredibly happy and hyper spirit about him. I showed him the artwork I had designed for his drums (main event tour), and he went jumping all over the dressing room like a little kid, screaming "This is the new art for my drums!"

So do you know why there is no art work on the drums this year?

I'm thinking that has been the case on the South America and Europe tours in the past as well. I would think there will artwork for the US shows. Some time back I checked out his site and there were some cool drum pics, though I don't believe the color matched the Eclipse colors.

He's a fun guy, but the questions he was asked were crapy!

i would ask if/when he'd do a solo record as vocalist..

DJs were fucking clueless and never once did they mention or ask about ECLIPSE.

I'll say it again. Blank drum heads just floor me. What a waste of promotional space!
Maybe there's a licensing thing with DW or EVANS...something legal barring this internationally.
I would have the Eclipse album cover and the band's url right below it on both bass drums.
I'd probably even consider putting something on Cain's piano too.

It's not just promo at the show, but it's advertising every time a YT vid plays, or pics are passed around.

later~
