My biggest regret

Postby Toph » Fri Jul 15, 2011 1:04 am

Not seeing Journey on the ROR tour in Florida in 1986. In high school at the time and we lived near Orlando and they came to Lakeland. They were also supposed to come to Orlando during the 3rd leg of the tour. We decided (my parents decided) that Lakeland was too far and we would just see them when they came to Orlando. They never did - the third leg was cancelled and thus Perry never toured with them again after 1986....

I could be wrong, but it seemed like the next concert Journey was supposed to have performed in on the ROR tour was in Roanoke, VA - which is like 45 minutes from me.

My first Journey concert was ROR. My biggest regret is that I never got to see the line up with Smitty and Ross. I am glad I got a chance to see them with Perry though!

Sure the ROR show was good (saw it 5 times), but if that's people's biggest regret in life, my life must suck ass! :)

I regret missing the ROR tour. I was lucky enough to see the Escape and Frontiers tours though.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Ditto. Got to see them twice on both tours. I can live with that.

The Escape show was my first real concert. It was my favorite then and still is today.

I was only 11 during the Frontiers tour. Too young to go to a concert (so my mom said)

Never saw the real Journey live.
