Apparently SA contributed two tracks on the soundtrack to the film, "Graveyard Shift." Wierd.

The song really sucks, but Steve does sound pretty good. Based on the 1990 release date of the movie, this song predates the first Tall Stories release.

I agree, but how old is this?

I might ask him about this track.

Speaking of Augeri, anyone got the ZO2 album, Painted Lady?
He's all over that record. And the singer sounds a little like him at times too.

The info I found is that these songs actually come from "Central Park Drifter (Graveyard Shift)" which came out in 1987. Shows he wrote lyrics and performed but that don't sound like Augeri to me...

This is what IMDB has:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093115/soundtrack

At first, it didn't sound like Augeri, but the more I listened, the more it did sound like him. I think we are all too used to how he sang Journey songs, which wasn't completely his natural singing style. Since the movie is from 1987, it's also more than 10 years before he was in Journey. A voice can change quite a bit in 10+ years.

Ok, so it's from a different (non-Stephen King) horror flick also entitled "Graveyard Shift." I'd bet the house it's Steve A., sounds like him right down to the NY accent.
