Journey guitarist Neal Schon said that Arnel Pineda wouldn't mind sharing the stage with Steve Perry, who now has an open invite to sing with the band.
Perry's good natured bonhomie & the world’s most charmin smile, knocked fans off their feet. Sportin a black tux, gigs came alive as he swished around the stage thrillin audiences w/ charisma that instantly burnt the oxygen right out of the venue.TR.com

This isn't new news. They've said it many times over the years. It'll never happen, and they know it.

It would be cool it he would make a cameo appearance, as a surprise, completely unexpectedly. Would the crowd go crazy or what? :D

It's always been in Perry's hands No matter what anyone say's . Perry has been afraid to sing period. He would need a few months of warming up his cords and he could pull it off. He just needs the right support. Go on Steve have a blow.. How ironic blow is what blew him out back in 87,

Perry's toast. He won't be able to keep up with the music displayed behind him. Dudes finished, he doesn't sing for a reason.

He should just come out with that Steve Perry Christmas album in the theme of Journey music and call it quits after that!

No news here... Augeri always said that he would step aside if Perry ever wanted to return to the band or if he wanted to make a quest appearance. It's a nice gesture, but BS, because the Journey camp knows that Perry will never show up, regardless to his present singing ability.

I don't think it will ever happen. If he still has a voice, I don't think he would ever "share" the stage. But he could shock the Journey world. :?:

I don't think it will ever happen either, but stranger things have happened.
