let me know how it goes. It's just not worth the money for 15 songs and 80 minutes from Journey.

I'm gonna be there too. VIP tickets, seated somewhere in the first ten rows~ I'll be sure to post my thoughts on the concert and the backstage experience tomorrow.

Set list is the usual; Send Her My Love instead of WYLAW; but we did get La Do Da (no Only the Young) - ended with LTS. Show was in lower key - Arnel did fine, though I feel he wasn't going the extra mile with his voice like in 09. Really liked the confetti! Shortest Jrny show I've ever been to; went by way too fast. Wasn't a fan of most of the t-shirt designs this time out.

Jesus, Neal! When I told you to drop OTY if you couldn't get over the shitty synth-rhythm track, how on Earth did you take that as carte blanche to put in an even shittier song in the set? A song that no one knows or cares about? If you put in songs from Eclipse, you'd be in the same damn boat but at least you'd be promoting your "new Frontiers."
'Nothing was bigger for Journey than 1981’s “Escape” album. “I have to attribute that to Jonathan coming in and joining the writing team,” Steve Perry (Feb 2012).'

Here's a couple of clips I recorded... a bit of La Do Da and end of DSB with confetti.

Well, I got AMAZING SEATS with my dad. Fourth row from the stage, pretty close where Neal was most of the show. While the setlist was weaker than the concert from Hawaii I went to, Dad and I both agreed it was a better experience this time around, since we were literally RIGHT THERE. Arnel looked straight at me several times through out the concert, bouncing back and forth with various hand gestures. Pretty sure we saw Cherry Pineda and Neal's current girlfriend/wife right in front of the stage, though Cherry disappeared rather soon (I spotted Arnel's other family members getting off the tourbus with him, including his little son, right before Dad and I got our picture taken with the band), so I'm guessing she left to put their son to bed.

'Stone In Love' and 'Wheel In The Sky' were the highlights of Journey's show for me. Both were played a tad bit differently than I remember them playing those songs back in Hawaii, and while the songs were indeed played in a lower key, Arnel did some pretty high notes in the first verse of 'Stone In Love'. As for the infamous 'La Do Da'... while I'm not a big fan of the song, and I definitely wish they had played something else (preferably off of Eclipse), it was a rather fun moment of the concert. No one in the audience seemed to know what the song was, but I could see the band was enjoying themselves as they played that song. I thought it was a smart decision on the band's part to move 'Don't Stop Believin' to the encore, and I agree that the confetti was awesome. :D

Have to say that the concert was AMAZING. Night Ranger, Foreigner and Journey all gave fantastic performances and this was one of the best memories I've got. 8)
