Strange because if I remember correctly Deen was singing this around that time, but not here (other than the stellar backing vox)

Wow, Augeri sang his ASS off. Good to hear a healthy boot of him murdering a song, a tough one to boot.

Some major auto-tune going on here, you can here it noticeably at 1:47, 2:00, 2:52, 3:03 etc (all the really high parts sound processed). In fact, there was a bit of fakery at the Warfield show ("We Will Meet Again" was using canned vocals except for the intro and outro). SA's the man, but I wouldn't post this.

The high whistle note sounds suspiciously like Perry. Do they ever blend in his voice into backing VOX?

No opinion on it, just thought it was an odd clip.

Here's some vintage SA.
100% live, sounding great, without any pitch-correcting trickery BS. Wish the Virginia Beach show from 1998 was still on YT.

I believe when they used to play MOL live, someone said the intro was straight from the TBF record.

Funny, they played GCHI there. Thought Neal supposedly hates that song.

I have the Bakersfield show on DVD. Have the pro shot Va Beach but from 99, not 98.

This is one of the rare times Augeri attempted this song and he did a phenomenal job that night...I was there front and center for that show at the Warfield in San Fran.

Interesting to hear it for sure. Wonder how they did the auto tune on the fly (as TNC mentioned)

So used to hearing Deen sing this one.

However this was dealt with, they made it sound pretty good.

ANyone else find it funny about all the comments on that youtube link? There is a huge debate about whether its Deen or Steve singing. I mean if you cant tell who is singing this then you're probably the same person that thinks Perry is still singing at the concerts!

Yeah, I saw that. I thought Augeri sounded damn good on that.
