Should Tantra be in the setlist?

I'm not a fan of that song, just to get that that out of the way.
However, with Deen being grounded and no sweeping epic like Mother, Father being in the setlist, should Tantra be included, sort of like Journey's own November Rain, Carry on Wayward Son or Come Sail Away? Yes, they still have DSB, but shouldn't there be at least one song that says , this is the now, this is Journey rebooted, this is what we are about in the 21st century?
What do you think? This was the song that was to define this album, the glue that held the concept together, should it be out there every night regardless of what people think? You can dump EOTM of COH if you need more time but this song IS Eclipse, shouldn't it be a mainstay, this tour at least?

I'm still hoping they'll play Someone or Anything Is Possible, so I vote no. I'd have no problem with COH and EOTM going off the setlists as long as they replace them with either of those and bring back Resonate. They're not giving those songs a chance to see how the fans like them.

It seems like Journey is going to cut up AIP to get it out there on radio for the 2012 tour. If you have to play anything new, why not the song that both AP and Cain have said their favorite? If it's a beer run moment , why not at least sing something you like?

Resonate
Chain of Love
Someone

Those are the 3 songs that definitely need to be in the set. Human Feel, Edge of the Moment, Ritual, and Tantra can be dispersed as well.

I'd personally replace Someone with Anything Is Possible, personally. Both are great though~ 8)

AIP is too soft, in my opinion.

But it is the type of song that should go over well in concert.

What song wouldn't go over well for you in concert as your load of splooge is soaking through your BVD's as your standing at the foot of the stage at Niel's feet?

Since it's one of the 2 songs I actually like enough to listen to more, then yeah, I say add it in, wth.

I love Tantra. One of the few off Eclipse with staying power so far. They should abbreviate the intro a bit because the words "new material" already alienate enough fans before one note gets played.

. I love Tantra, but no since it's a shorter set and more of a ballad. Resonate is a must and Anything is Possible would be a crowd pleaser, I think, also.

Really doubt this one will get in the set, it's a ball buster to sing.

What would the 1 venue be, that rocks..that you could test drive and play
the entire Eclipse album ...with a couple of DD songs thrown in?

Would the audience enjoy it or go.... huh?

Tantra...on its own? No. But maybe it could be coat-tailed for a minute off another song. Maybe use some of its melody as a segue even. I think the best thing they could do for it, would be some sort of cameo where only the hardcore fans will notice it. Ya know, kinda like that heavy interlude of 'Wheel In the Sky'. Isn't the current version something borrowed from HSAS?

later~

Yup, but they modified it from the last tour. Cain's on harmonica and a different riff is played while that's going on.
