Sounds like the one decent thing he's done this entire tour. That's pretty nice of you, Neal! Now put 'Resonate' and 'Chain of Love' back in the fucking set and start promoting your "new Frontiers" please.

Kid probably shit himself. 8) Schon is a cool guy as far as I can tell. He doesn't seem like the douche everyone makes him out to be all the time. I like him.

I wish I had front row seats in T.O., would have loved to get one of his picks. The best I got was eye contact. I'm on his radar now.

His PRS guitars are pretty sick. The hollow body one he used on a couple songs was really sweet.

Damn, Neal.

Here's a video of him giving one away at the Atlantic City concert, which I believe was the first one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxF_HMPIP_E

Very cool. Totally planned, the guitar he gave away did not have the set up (electronics, trem, etc.) that his regular player guitars have....his player guitars cost north of $10k.

Still awesome of him to do a give away.

In all seriousness, was the kid sick/a Make-A-Wish kid/something like that? Was he really just a regular kid in the audience, especially if it seemed planned?

Thanks Chubs...can't wait for this one. I loved both Schon and Hammer albums although I'm expecting this one to be a bit jazzier (is that a word?) since it's with Steve Smith and supposedly an instrumental.

I guess that means we won't be seeing the one he's recorded with Deen and Marco Mendoza with vocals untill next year! :(

I'm bettin' you may be right Slucero. I'm sure with Jon's new studio there and all the other music/musicians in the area, it would be a good move. I'm betting Jon has briefed him on the difference in taxes/cost of living living in KY vs CA! Of course, with the $$$ Neal's been making lately, I don't think that matters much.

Nashville is in TN not KY. :) I know a lot of people think all these southern states are the same, but they really aren't. 8)

I don't see him moving out of CA. He has too many kids with ex wives that I assume live in CA. And Nashville is still more country based than rock based.

TN is next door to us. Trust me Rock is king here. And Journey rules in the south. You cannot go a day without hearing at least 3or4 Journey tunes a day. :D
