Yeah Gary Pihl, great guitarist. Always liked his playing.

I believe Gary also spent some time in Boston (the band, not the city....although he may have spent some time there, too, for all I know).

Absolutely. He was there both times I saw him pre-Delp suicide in the mid 2000s. Good player. Tall too, like Tom Scholz.
