West Palm Show............

This was the first time for me seeing the Arnel live...I wasnt impressed with the show tonight. While I try and take everything I read here and online with a grain of salt. My wife who is a casual fan echoed everything that had been written after the last few shows.. We both felt Arnel was struggling on almost everysong. Something just didnt seem the same on the stage with Arnel there. VEry little interaction with each other. After watching Forginer blister through there set ( with no orginal memembers). It seemed like a total opposite.
I do have both of Revelation and Elcipse and I play them both along with the Manilla DVD and the Revelation DVD. I wanted to like the show tonight but I must say that I was a bit disapointed with the show and it is not just the vocals, the stage presence and the set list all combined to make this show a disapointed to me and my wife. We had our 5 year old with us and he was tired. We actually left 3/4 of the way through the set while EOTM was playing and listened for a few songs outside. My son really wanted to her DSB.

You coould almost tell they were trying to cover up the vocals a bit. Alot of extended intros to all songs. If they would have cut these dowm they could have added a couple of songs to the set...but I geuss this wouldnt help the vocal situation..they could always use Deen... They could use Deen and Jon on JTSW or FTW and Anytime. Just a thought. felt bad for Arnel I wanted this too be good after the CDS and the success the band is showing, Hopefully he can get some rest

While I will continue to listen to Journey and support any work that they due. I think I have seen my last show. I really wanted to like the show but it just didnt do it for me.
