Who's band is it really?

We say it's Neal's band, but in taking a closer look, it becomes apparent that one former band member who still gets paid quite handsomely does not have to work and therefore chooses not to. Then we look at who owns and controls most of the venues where Journey plays. It would seem Irving Azoff and Steve Perry overpower Neal Schon by a long shot. Then there is the back catalog, the most important part of which is owned by Sony. Wouldn't that really make Neal the bitch of the previously mentioned three?
That explains a lot to me as far as why few of Journey's latest efforts get played in concert.
