 I'm literally laughing out loud at this one. Thanks steveo, I needed that!

Now if Neal would only get back to putting out his solo album and let's hope he has enough sense not to let this girlfriend sing on it... :(

Ok, let's lay off the happy couple for a bit...

Don't need this turning into a tabloid annex.

Well, lots of promo for Journey, clips with Arnel performing from Manila, and tomorrow night ET will be backstage at the concert. Not one mention of Eclipse. Cheesy. It wasn't an interview really She was doing some fake eyelash promo and kissy kissy with Neal. I joked before, but I fear a reality show in the future.

Yeah, WTH? It showed a couple minutes of her getting mink eyelash extensions, a bit about Journey and then her hopping back into the limo covering Schon with kisses. TMZ I could see, but ET must be hard up for segments these days, seriously? :?

They played it up for ET last night with random chics (probably staged) coming up on stage and the shell top fireworks, big closeout on the show for sure.

Got talked into going to the show, It was worth it (except for the traffic).

Definitely a sellout. Sound was decent though I prefer the Greek more and Staples A LOT more. Not the best sound mix from Journey (a bit dulled down) but not as bad as I was fearing.

Foreigner did NOT blow Journey off the stage last night (though Night Ranger gave both bands a run for their money). While good, they weren't quite up to par from when I saw them at Morongo. Unfortunately, Mick was still out.

A lot of the crowd was Upper 20s/lower 30s, definitely a Hollywood crowd. as there was always some kind of cocktail buzz even when the music wasn't playing. Contrary to what may have happened earlier in the tour, people stayed on their feet pretty much the entire show, even through COH but you could definitely tell that this was a Jack FM fan base as the songs we hear on that Station everyday were the ones that actually got sang along to. WCN would have fit in a lot better than SHML as there was a lot of mumbling but not what I call singing for most of the setlist.

Neal gave out another guitar also that was a nice touch. He reined in the shredding a bit too.

For grades, Journey B+, Night Ranger B and a C+ for Foreigner.

Despite the glitz and big stage production, I think I prefer the show from 2008 more. Arnel's vocals were much better back then and while not terrible or even bad last night just wasn't doing it for me.
There was definitely no standstill WYLAW moment for Arnel like at the Greek a few years back.
Still, not a bad way to spend a Tuesday evening.

Went to the Greek a few months ago to see the Goos. It was a great place for a show (I'm from Seattle, so it was new to me).

The Hollywood Bowl is a bigger version of the Greek but the sound isn't quite as good and the traffic freakin' sucks.
I love the Greek Theatre, close to my house and definitely (for me anyway) great ambience when it comes to live shows.
My son's commencement services were at the Greek too so I'll always have that special memory of the place.

As I actually like Eclipse, I was hoping to be surprised by at least two or three NEW songs since ET was there and it seemed like a good promo opportunity.
A bit disappointing in that regard.
