Seriously, as a rock fan - I think this is very good.

Sounds great. Didn't love the way he draws some of the phrases out, but I also know he sings this different every time he performs it from viewing other videos on here. I also wouldn't notice live.

SA always did a good job on SIL. Note at 1:50 or so he motions to some audience members to stop smoking.

Unless he has a cold, he's sounding really good considering everything. Hey, if he sounded perfect every show and didn't have any pitch issues or whatever, there would be those that would be claiming he's not really singing, so I'd rather have the other issues common to live performances.

he sounds good but it should not be compared to this previous tenure with the band or with Pineda etc.

i think he should stick to his solo stuff , release the album finally and go on...there is an audience for him too definitely...

Never gonna happen. Since he was a Journey vocalist, he will be compared to what came before and what comes after, inclusive of his time in the band whether he or we want it or not. That's just the nature of the beast!

Augeri sounds pretty good in this clip. Looks like he has recovered nicely. So glad he's out there performing again.
