I was think that without Jon being involved, we might get Frontiers era vocals with Infinity era guitar work. Might be pretty cool.

...and you also have Marco...one on the best bass players EVER and a pretty decent vocalist himself!

But I understand it's the Smith/Igor Lens CD coming out first...so probably more jazz/prog related.

Juvenile armpit-farting noises are better than Eclipse.

They might as well call it SoulSirkus2!

Agreed, really like his playing. He's right under Sheehan and Sarzo when it comes to favorite bassists. Actually kinda curious to hear this one.......fan of Deen's gritty vocals too. Don's probably not far off on that.

Much more looking forward to Damage Control tho, especially after hearing Jeff and Jamie did some writing together on it too. Probably my fave song on 7 was the one those two wrote together (Shed A Tear Goodbye).

I don't expect these songs to be anything like Journey, or even SoulSirkus. These solo projects sounds more improvisational and free-form.

I'd me more excited if they'd gotten Marc Storace to do lead vox as was originally planned.
