#4 on best selling mp3 albums right now. The vinyl version appears to have sold out already. The physical CD itself has crept from #140 to #96 over the last few hours.

The pre-Escape material sounds amazing, well worth the 4 bucks.

Why Journey didn't have one of these super saver deals with Eclipse beats me.

Lora, you can tell Steve he knocked it out of the park, production wise on this one. Stay Awhile is just Killer.

Please don't tell me the vinyl version has already been sold out! That's not acceptable for me! (But the $3.99 for the digital copy is worth looking into.)

Thanks! Just opening and handling a gatefold vinyl album again was mind-blowing. Everything looks so......BIG! I only have the GH2 on vinyl so far. Haven't seen GH1 yet.

LOL I hear you. I had ordered it. But after this thread decided I would love it on my iPod also considering the tracklist on it.

Feeling that Way/Anytime are glorious on here. I love this compilation because it has so much of the pre-Escape era (which I love) with just the right mix of later work. I am sick of DSB and Separate Ways, etc.

So true. And DSB has been everywhere for years now. I so love the intro and get sucked into it, but I am sick of the song, basically.

Steve Perry had a great sense of time and feel, and he had the control to place his vocals exactly where he wanted them in relation to the groove.

Wow! I had never really considered this, but isn't it sooo true??? Great find, Jana!!! :D

And though I love Arnel's work, that is one of the two biggest differences to me -- the other being the lack of a true Sam Cooke-like soulfulness in his tone.

So true! You just don't think of things like that when you hear the song all put together and polished. But all these guys are tremendously talented to have created the final product.

Does this work anymore? A pop-up says I need the latest version of Adobe player, which I do have.

Is the $3.99 deal done? I'm just seeing it for $9.99 under the MP3 downloads.
