Journey guitarist Neal Schon and girlfriend Michaele Salahi caused quite the stir when the two publicized their relationship and now they'll finally show how everything came to be.

ET caught up with the two at this year's NAMM show in Anaheim, CA last Friday during the launch of the Neal Schon Limited Edition Archtop Trem guitar by Paul Reed Smith Guitars when they announced that the video for Journey's new song Resonate will depict Schon and Salahi's love affair, set to be released on Valentine's Day.Michaele Salahi 'Happiest' She's Ever Been

Er... this is not what I envisioned when I dreamed of a video for 'Resonate'.

Perhaps this will be like the Faithfully video where they took some live footage and then dubbed over it.

In what universe is this bitch someone who has earned the right and/or the respect of the fans to be a face permanently attached to something that's officially released by the band?! At this point in the band's life and the collective lives of those in it who are at or approaching the age of retirement, I had hoped that everything from here on out would be in some way a tribute to the fans who have supported them for so many years. With the official announcement of the band's retirement I can only assume is not far off, it would be nice if Neal would remember that what the band does in these last few months/years will be attached to their legacy forever and for some, it will be what they are remembered for. Apparently Neal hasn't thought at all about this as evidenced by the shit he's been dragging the band's name through. Come on Neal.... borrow or buy an ounce of class and think about how big the Journey legacy is and have some fucking respect for it!! I've always thought Neal was a prick but a douche...?

Wow.... this takes Journey being "Neal's band" to whole 'nuther level...

With all due respect - not sure that's a great story to tell. Much controversy.

Consider this: Journey's not on ET's radar at all if this romance isn't going on. It's brilliant marketing.

If there's any silver lining here, it's that no one pays any attention to Journey's new releases anyway.

Again...I don't give a shit who the band members are in love or lust or whatever with...but I'm surprised at this because wasn't this a concept album and shouldn't there be some imagery that is already attached to the song?

After dropping that turd of a release Eclipse, something like this doesn't surprise me at all. Schon has taken this band and made it into his own disgusting reality show. Congrats mister founder.

And we wonder why Perry was such a control freak. It evidently was to keep NS from continuously running the train into a brick wall.

If you don't like Eclipse, you arguably don't like (or know) Journey. There's a different nod to every era, and even new ground as well. Easily their strongest album since Arrival. If there's any complaint, it's that it rocks too hard. As for the video...can it possibly be any worse than the COH one?

Cain is probably cringing in his Nashville studio, thinking..."How can I gracefully get off this train???" And...Perry's probably like...."Damn, look at this clown, but DAMN, look at my bank account!!!!!"

Francois Frizat just finished the editing and directing job for the Resonate video. This guy's next project is an AXE commercial in France so that might give you a clue on the direction this video might take.

Seeing as how Pineda has been in the Philippines while this video was being worked on, Perhaps a mixture of live video with some kind of 007 mucky-ale/act-schon footage?

This manager is only representing Neal (and Michaele) - not Journey - for reality tv possibilities. Think of it more as a Neal solo project.
