I've been out of the loop a while, so can anyone tell me did the show with Rascal Flatts go down? And if it did, when would it possibly air?

This is March. You talking next year? I heard rumors that the whole idea was quashed.

Actually, I heard that it was supposed to happen on Feb 26th, then Arnel flew home and it never happened. Anyone know exactly what happened?

It seems like if it had happened someone would have heard about it or at least known about it. My guess is it just fizzled away and didnt happen...hence why we havent heard about it or the band hasnt said anymore about it.

thank God,
would have been the last nail in the Journey coffin.

Maybe there is a weak pulse left.

Absolutely!!! This would have killed Journey. There would have events in San Francisco with steam rollers running over Journey CDs. Just like the other bands who have gone on this show only to see their careers impload like:

Def Leppard
Bon Jovi
Heart
John Fogerty
Maroon 5
Kelly Clarkson
Kid Rock
Sting
Jimmy Buffett
and don't forget Robert Plant and Allison Krauss when that collaboration ended up destroy their careers to the point they won Grammy Awards.
