There are a slew of bands as dysfunctional, if not more so than Journey. It's just that our fandom gives us tunnel vision.

I would say more dysfunctional by a considerable amount. The court system in the US would be much less crowded if Survivor could stay out of it.

I thought Triumph was pretty dysfunctional for the longest time when Rik Emmitt left and Gil Moore's voice started to sound like shit (his voice came apart between Surveillance and EOE). Of course they sorta made up, but their dysfunctionalness derailed that band for about 15 years.
