Any version of the show open for the "Raised on Radio" tour? I remember it being a pre-recorded, synthesized preamble to their opener, "Only The Young."
...Heavy with the vari-lights and those three triangle-shaped trusses moving up and down. A pretty cool show open. I'll say this for 'em -- Journey knows how to kick-start a concert.

Hard to believe this is the same band that kicked so much ass just a few years earlier. Compared to Houston 81 or the japan performance in 82-3, this is just not up to the standard Journey set for itself. Hard to watch and hear them unravel. I hate the keytar and no Ross and Steve S. it pisses me off! Lol!

Really, really bad.

That was such a cheese-laden downpoint in their career, imho, though know others love it. I did like the intro on the 2001 DVD, very melodic, classic Journey (YMMV)

Seeing this -- steroid and sped-up for whatever reason... It's no surprise Perry burned out on this tour.
