Very interesting! Still cant believe Chicago fired Bill Champlain, that guy really helped them stay afloat after Cetera's departure.

I read an interview by him a few years back. I would have sworn he siad he left the band, he was tired of always having to play the same songs over and over. Wanted to do something different.

No, I thought that too at first, but then I read an interview from him saying he was fired. He said the band didnt like him wanting to pursue a solo project on the side and two days after the release of his solo record, he was fired by Chicago. I remember Robert Lamm saying that it was long overdue and should have happened 20 years ago, thats just crazy!

Great lineup. I think Tommy (or someone) said they might bring the act stateside for a few dates. Would love to see Augeri, Thomas, and Kimball.

Good read. But who knows the truth when a band fires someone or splits up. But he does seem to hit a lot of it on the head. No cds from the band and solo cds from him. Who wanted to work, sounds like he did.
