With all due respect to Deen, the distinct sound of a Steve Smith drum kit behind Neal's shredding guitar is one of a kind. Love it.
Deen's a little too heavy metal for my taste, while Steve's jazz-fusion influence seems to compliment Neal more.

Again - nothing personal against Deen. Love the guy. Just miss Smitty.

The Town Without Pity remake by Montrose is one of my all-time favorites from Ronnie. Neal delivers nicely on that one here. 8)

I agree w/Smitty's distinct sound and it was perfect for thee Journey. Deen's a
a little thuddy, again, no disrespect ...Parfait describes his playing best!! :lol:
