Are there any recorded performances and or videos of Arnel ever singing this song live or has Deen always had to sing it?

I might be wrong, but AFAIK, it's always been Deen.

I have a buddy who won't go see Journey with me again unless I promise him that Deen will be doing Mother/Father. Like Herbie says - the guy is a franchise talent, and its a highlight of the night when he sings and plays.

I was told Deen won't sing anymore because "It confuses the audience". They must think we're complete dumbasses.

would see Journey in a hearbeat if they let Deen sing 4-5 songs like he used to.
He sings with great heart and soul.

Arnel always sounds like he is just going through the motions. Paint by numbers..

I'm not an Arnel fan either, jut something about the guys vocal work that I'm not a fan of.
