Journey music sampled by Hip-Hop artists

Pretty awful, but 'Send Her My Love' was used by a US rapper named Joe Budden, in tribute to a fellow musician, who was gunned down (cliched, I know, but hence the sentiment 'Send HIM Our Love'), but it is funny to hear Perry's vocals sped up at the beginning and the chorus:

Plus, someone named Cam'ron used 'Don't Stop Believin', to an almost sickening effect...

'That was something I didnt expect...Not sure the reason behind the use of the song... But if it floats your boat, just go with it !!

If an artist sampled a Journey song, and then Journey in turn sampled that into one of their songs, would it still be sampling? :?: :wink:

Isn't Journey a tribute band.......of their own music? Hahahahaha!
