Official video for Neal's new solo cd, The Calling

As with the official video for "Resonate", Michaele Salahi, is featured.
The scenes of the couple cruising around CA, almost feel like test footage for their proposed reality TV pilot.
These constant attempts at publicity reek of desperation. Seems Schon can't do anything these days (promote Journey, do solo stuff, or otherwise) without making it all about the former Real Housewife of DC. I think someone needs to take the keys away from Schon and give them back to Steve Perry.

I like it. Nothing desperate in it. Looks like a guy just enjoying his life. In the meantime, Steve Perry is long gone and Neal has the keys. Deal with it. ;) :D

The musical interplay... and genuine FUN Schon is having with Smitty is soooo obvious..

I think this video is about making his girl happy. Neal has never liked videos and never been good at them, and there is no market for this video and no format that will touch it. Neal knows that even if his girl doesn't.

The last time a Journey member used his art to appease his woman, we ended up with "Oh Sherrie."
Michaele is no Sherrie.

Soon we will watch this video and say "Oh that's cool, it shows the old Bay Bridge section that is now gone and the made in China section is now in it's place".

I watched the vid again and there is a split second shot of the bridge in it's entire length and I notice that's not the bay bridge. It's the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge that is shown in this video.

Think again!... Steve Perry still controls alot of the Journey movement...What keys does Neal have?... Maybe his house keys and the keys to a whore's heart... She owns his wallet like all the others in the past.. Soon Neal will ENCOUNTER what Ross went through in the late 80's early 90's...BANKRUPTCY.......You guys crack me up !!

True, but there are other differences. I think Perry believed his video with Sherrie would be seen and promote the song, and it was and it did. I don't think Neal believes many people will see this video or that it is going to help sales, so only real reason for making it is to make Michaele smile, even if it makes the die hards ( ie the only people watching it) cringe.

It's a bit funny that 30 years later Neal has finally figured out how to make an 80s music video! Pity that those days are gone now. It might take him another 30 years before can make a video that fits the format today. Oh well, nobody can be good at everything!

No big deal to me. Videos have never enhanced my feelings for a song much anyway.

First time I saw it, it immediately reminded me of this one.

It must be the leather and the motorcycle! LOL! I know Randy Jackson is on this one and I believe Sheryl Crowe sings background!

Good one!

This song was always kind of weird for me because I actually like Neal's vocals better than his playing on it.
