Grammy Nomination(s)?

So it's been said a number of times that Journey's first Grammy nomination was WYLAW. Several times on this board I had said I could have sworn there was mention of a previous Grammy nomination on the back of the Frontiers and Beyond video back cover. That video has been locked away in a box at my moms for many years and searches on the net about previous Grammy nominations always turned up zilch. I started to think I was crazy. But I went searching again tonight and found this:

http://www.80s4ever.com/catalog/i4.html

It mentions a Grammy nomination and I'm curious what that was. Anyone know and anyone know why they say WYLAW was their first?

Journey had already garnered seven platinum albums and a coveted Grammy Award nomination, sold-out concert tours and had the honor of being named "Group of the Year" in the 1983 national Gallup Poll to attest to the band's creative versatility.

I remember asking this question when F&B was released on DVD. No one really had the answer but the speculation was that it was a technical Award Nomination for Nocturnal/Journey's touring lighting systems...

1982. Journey was nominated for Best Engineered Recording for Escape lyrics. Steely Dan won for Gaucho lyrics.
