Perry's good natured bonhomie & the world’s most charmin smile, knocked fans off their feet. Sportin a black tux, gigs came alive as he swished around the stage thrillin audiences w/ charisma that instantly burnt the oxygen right out of the venue.TR.com

Chain of Love is the only track I think is very good.

The rest of the album is solid musically, I just don't really like it very much. Musically it sounds like the band is trying to be serious with some straight forward rockers and then you have Cain still writing about state of grace and stuff like that. Arnel to me over sings the matierial and the songs just aren't catchy. The one song that sounds like Journey "Anything Is Possible" sounds like a throw away track from Revelation. I have nothing against the band trying out a new sound and actually welcome them trying out a new sound as long as it's done well. I don't feel Eclipse was done well as a whole because Schon/Cain didn't seem to be on the same page when it came to writing.

What about an "ALL" option, 75% overall like, and 50% choices.

I would probably pick the 75% like option. I dig the music. The lyrics, while definitely not stellar, are fine with me.

Pick one ... :D

Deen's drum entry on Human Feel is great.

I love Neal's guitar work, but I don't like any one song. The opening to City of Hope is killer, but the melody and lyrics are horrible. Overall the songs lack cohesiveness. Comes across like Cain was lost and didn't know what to do with the music and Arnel's voice doesn't fit the harder edge of this music AT ALL. I was excited at first, but after a few spins I was turned off.

I applaud Neal for trying to take a different step, but he did it with the wrong players. The whole thing was like oil and water trying to come together. I hate to say it, but I don't think I'm interested in new music from this lineup. I'm much more interested in what Neal does solo or with a side band than this version of Journey.

I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

It's great stuff. Not overly impressed with the lyrics on Human Feel. That one starts off so powerful and, for me, the lyrics don't hold up, but I love it for the fantastic drum beat, great guitar and that nasty Hammond keyboard sound.

City Of Hope, Human Feel and Ritual are songs that I'm "Ok" with. Neither like or dislike.

Chain Of Love I heard first time from a live video February/2011 and listen frequently since then. Great live song. Currently my favorite from Eclipse along with Someone and Edge Of The Moment.

Resonate, Tantra and To Whom It May Concert got me at first listen, after a year don't like them that much anymore.

Venus sound out of place on a Journey album. Anything Is Possible and She's A Mystery are not my stuff. I'd rather see "Colors Of The Spirit" instead of DSB as Bonus track.

While Eclipse dropped off my playlist, Revelation is still one of my favorite Journey albums.
