Absolutely! No John Waite? Oh, wait, Arnel can handle that! He actually can and quite well. I really think, since you have 3 of the BE members there that you might be onto something with this idea. Some of the songs are already known and could be played, unless there is some agreement that they don't, hence John gets his panties in a wad.

The only song people would know from Bad English is the one that Neal swore he would never "fucking" play again (hint- the one that they did not write).

Yeah, Arnel is pretty good with those. He's covered the one she wrote for Aerosmith also.

Yep... if it was done by Bad English! Arnel already fucks up Journey's legacy to me. Now you want him to ruin Bad English for me too? What did I ever do to you?

They should play more Bad English and the Storm songs in their set...
(I believe that's the group with Chalfant back in the early 90's)

It would be well received IMO

Why would they play music from the Storm? Ross was the only one from this line up in that band and it's not like he's a major creative force that needs to be showcased in an already shortened setlist. If the audience doesn't care for Journey tunes from there new album, I can't see how songs from a group 99% of the them never heard of is going to go over well. With these other 80s' band pair ups, Journey is almost trapped into playing only their greatest hits after seeing the accolades their opening acts have gotten over the last two tours, especially Pat Benatar and Foreigner who were noted by various critics to be the best band of the night on more than one occasion.

where did he say that?

the way I would want to see it happen is them doing one of the rockers like Best Of What I Got or Forget Me Not in the encore before whatever Journey song they decide to do

Just thinking other some other semi-Journey related band where they could bring new (old) material.
Not just stuck playing the DD...

It was just a thought...

"Rocking Horse" is an awesome song. Would love to hear it live again.
