Does anyone know of any live recordings from The Storm......I seem to remember they played with Bryan Adams and was wondering if there was any audio floating around of the band live ...

They did indeed open for Bryan Adams but I do not recall coming past any boots. There's GOTTA be something right?

I spotted a live video of The Storm performing 'Black Magic Woman' on YouTube a few years ago. It might still be on there

There is a bootleg of The Storm - Live in San Jose, CA (1992).

Thanks,

Do you know that the follow up single to I've Got A Lot To Learn About Love was a song called "Show Me The Way."Unfortunately for the Storm, Styx had hit it huge with their "Show Me The Way" a few months prior. This confusing and radio not wanting to immediately give airplay to a tune with the same name ultimately doomed the Storm's version to languish on the charts.

I have two boots from The Storm:
1. San Jose - 1992
2. Kaukauna, Wisconsin - 6/6/1992

Very similar setlists. A number of cuts from their first CD, Black Magic Woman, Just the Same Way, and Anytime.

"Show Me The Way" was a great song, and I think it gave a good glimpse into what Journey with Kevin Chalfant would have sounded like. "Call Me" featured Gregg Rolie and might be my favorite Storm track. "You're Gonna Miss Me" is also worth a listen.

The 2nd Storm cd was even closer to the Journey sound......or a Journey with Gregg Rolie (instead of Cain) and Chalfant. Too bad they never got a chacne to perform any of that cd live. Like the first cd, but just loved the 2nd one.

Those 2 recordings are the only ones I've heard also. I think San Jose might be on a video also. I know there is a live video from one of the shows.

I saw several videos of The Storm in a fan-made dvd of Journey compilation. The quality is not that good...looks to be recorded from MTV music video broadcasts back in the day.

LOL....The Styx song had nothing to do with how well The Storm song did or did not do on radio. That is just too funny.
