Meh! WTF? We can't get any Arrival, Revelation or Eclipse songs anymore. I don't get it!

I enjoy their shows, but it makes it tough for me to dig for the cost of a ticket anymore. I know, we're a drop in the bucket here at MR and the majority are still eating it up, as they are still selling plenty of tickets.

They know they're in their twilight years, and Arnel is their last lead singer change. It's all about pleasing the casual ticket-buying fans who only know the hits....and how many ever more years they can keep performing.

I was hoping to attend this show but couldn't get off work in time.
My enthusiasm has dimmed since Feb. when I saw them last. It was a great show for the vanilla set list and Neal had everyone by their balls during the SSB.

But 2008's tour was probably my favorite. You had deeper cuts, 4 or 5 tunes from Revelation, and Deen and Arnel weren't the only ones exhibiting excitement. And the crowd was entranced.

Now they're just phoning it in, IMHO. And I'm disappointed by next year's touring partners, who seem incongruant with Journey's genre.

I'll still probably catch 'em one more time before retirement. My girlfriend wants VIP tickets and has her eyes set on one of Neal's guitars.
'Nothing was bigger for Journey than 1981’s “Escape” album. “I have to attribute that to Jonathan coming in and joining the writing team,” Steve Perry (Feb 2012).'

Apparently Journey got $300,000+ to play Springfield. Styx 73,000. I guess it was worth it! They can certainly afford the Journey Jet!
