Jonathan plays for The Bridge

Jonathan played a special free solo show in Nashville this week to several hundred homeless people, who receive a meal and entertainment provided by The Bridge every Tuesday.

The gig wasn't in a usual venue - the events are held under a bridge where the guests are fed and entertained. Jonathan and the crowd had a great time!

Good for Jonathan. Maybe it'll inspire another feel good anthem.

A buddy of mine was there and said it was really cool. He texted me a picture of him and Jonathan. I didn't ask him for any details, so I'll ask him what all Jonathan played and get back to you.

Just heard back from him. He said it didn't sound too hot! He said Jonathan played 12-15 songs. He started out with a Journey Medley, played originals, then played out with another Journey medley. He said it was extremely tuned down and Jon told them he was "singing them in a man's voice". Lol!! He does have some video he said he can send me, but I don't know how soon I'll be able to post it. I'll get back to you.

I think if you show up under a bridge to sing for people, you get a pass on how you sound.

Very true, but I wasn't referring to the sound quality. I was referring to his performance. It was a cool thing for him to do, and I'm sure he helped them raise some money to help out the homeless. VERY noble cause.
