Thanks to everyone who replied to my last post about the Super Jam II and Monitro Studios recordings. The info you provided has been very helpful.

So, to my next tour-related question:

I know that the band toured Europe with Pat Travers in March/April of 1979, but I've also seen German newspaper tour listings, and one or two concert posters, showing the band in Europe with Travers, six months earlier, in September of 1978. This would put the '78 European tour between Dunbar's last performance (Sep 02, 1978) and Smith's first recorded show (Oct 01, 1978). Can this be correct, or was the '78 tour postponed in the wake of Dunbar's departure (pardon the pun) from the band?

A pretty obscure question, I know, but any insight would be greatly appreciated.
