Jeez, bitch all you want, but very cool they're doing this. Wish they'd done it on the Eclipse tour. I may have to get tickets for this tour after all. I was going to skip because it seemed they were just playing the same old stuff. By the way, the audience reaction to this track seems to be pretty good here.

NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

Very cool that they are playing and supporting their last two releases. Both "She's a Mystery" and "Tantra", which they have played this tour, are not your cookie cutter Journey songs. Ballsy move from a decidedly safe band.

Totally TNC. I LIKE She's a Mystery on the album, but I've always thought that it's just one acoustic verse too long. When I saw the video of it live, I still felt it was a bit long. Doesn't mean I don't like the song, but live, I think it'd be lost on a lot of people. "Tantra" is a brilliant tune and I'm glad they're popping it in. They need to drop in "Someone". That is such a signature-sounding Journey tune.

Tantra is such a snoozer. Hard for me to understand - if you're looking at sprinkling in new songs from recent releases - why they don't go to cuts like "Someone"... "Anything is Possible"... "Change for the Better"... Melodic crowd pleasers that rock. :?:

I've always liked Tantra, but maybe that's the prog rock fan in me. Cool tune, bombast be damned.

She's A Mystery, on the other hand, just feels and sounds like a moderately talented bar band trying to ape Zeppelin.

I like Tantra too. It's a very cinematic tune, Disney-esque. I think Arnel really shines in it. Definitely one of my favorites of the Arnel era. He pulls it off well live for a tricky tune. Too bad they weren't really promoting Eclipse, you know, when it came out! :)
