Evangelist and author Paula White quietly married rock guitarist Jonathan Cain over the weekend.

White shared photos of the ceremony on her Facebook and Twitter pages on Tuesday.


The pastor was formerly married to Dean Knight and Pastor Randy White, and has one son, Bradley Knight. Randy, also a megachurch pastor, offered congratulations to his ex-wife.

"I am so happy for Paula & Jonathan," he wrote on Facebook. "I pray they have a great marriage and do great works for the kingdom! I said I would never marry again until I made sure Paula married someone else . Bless them both and support them! #‎RandyWhite‬."

Cain, 65, is a member of Journey, and wrote their iconic song "Don't Stop Believin'." He has also performed with the bands The Babys and Bad English. Cain's marriage to Paula is his third, and he has three children from a prior marriage.

White leads New Destiny Christian Center in the Orlando metropolitan area, and hosts a television show, "Paula White Today." The programme is produced through Paula White Ministries, and appears on several cable networks.

The 49-year-old serves as a spiritual advisor to many celebrities, and has received several awards for her ministry.

White's wedding gown had a cream-coloured, lace bodice, with a high neck and sleeves. The mermaid skirt was white with a slit in the middle that stopped at the knee. White wore pearls and carried a stunning bouquet of white roses.

Following her wedding to Cain, White said she is "blessed beyond description."

"Such a beautiful wedding!" she wrote on social media.

"God is amazing! thank you Jensen Larson Photography and Johana Glaudi for the dress!!"

I'm going to guess not .... surely, there would have been a group pic or 2 in that above article, if the guys were there. Looks to be a small, quiet wedding ... maybe, that's how Jon wanted it.

Rock guitarist?? I guess while technically correct, I feel that moniker to be a bit off. I think pianist/keyboardist or simply musician would have been more accurate.

I'm happy they have found each other at this stage in their life I would hope that their happiness shines the light on prayer and blessings and faith. Happiness is rare.

Paula White just got married to New Zealand rocker Jonathan Cain . He is perhaps best known for his days with the band Journey and Bad English. He wrote the classic Journey song "Don't Stop Believin'" and was part of over a dozen other Journey albums.....

Just was on Journey's Facebook page and it appears John Cain is actually living in Orlando most of the time, as his location on Journey's Facebook page is no longer Nashville.

He has lost his mind. That was the most cringeworthy thing I've ever seen. I haven't quite finished the video as I needed a break from the awfulness of it. My baby, so sexy. She's a minister? LOL. Here's what happened to the founding pastor at this New Destiny church. It might ring a bell because it was in the news at the time. Later in the year it was the autopsy findings were released and it was a heroin/cocaine overdoes.

We know, picking up hints from years of band info, that Jonathan has an affinity for religion (SP did, too). So, I’m not surprised Jon met this Paula White person.

Never heard/knew of her name or the FL church scene before the disturbing links got posted on threads re breakup (married to the same woman some 30 yrs, I think) and subsequent hookup with infamous Florida minister. The video is quite shocking and, like Jana said, hard to watch. What kind of Christian denomination is that? Looked like a religious cult, and Jon must be under her spell. She's always decked out in sexy dress & stilettos. Is that really appropriate attire for a minister?

First, Neal marrying WH party crasher/fame-seeking opportunist. Then, Jon tied the knot with religious shrill that tons of sources vilify in print & on yt. What? These guys can’t find attraction with “normal” women????

Correction: Jon must have married in the early '90s. In a TBF promo radio interview, mentioned he & wife Liz has a 2 yr old named Madison and twins, Wesley & (?). Family likes to go skiing up in Tahoe.... "babies so cute in the snow" -- so that makes 20-some yrs (not 30).

I guess with their lifestyle and constant touring, they don't get to meet many "normal "women!! Too bad, as these 2 women seem to be in it for the publicity. The guys look happy now, but for how long, I wonder? I'm hoping for the best, but not expecting it.

If Jon ever gets to publish the memoir he was working on, you'd learn a lot about his Catholic school upbringing and the impact it's had on his life and his music. It's a really great story, and one I hope he gets to tell.
