Idaho Falls, Idaho (PRWEB) May 28, 2015

Carmus Productions, LLC, Producers of Carmus Jamboree 2015 USA Festival, announces music attractions to entertain crowds in the two day extravaganza August 14-15.

Friday daytime events include a singers talent competition titled, “Sing It On”, in which the final winner will fly to Nashville, TN for vocal mentorship and recording opportunity at a top studio. Friday evening concert starts off with Christian Group, The Nashville Tribute Band, with Carmus Christian Choir singing back-up. The headline act, platinum country recording artist Dustin Lynch will complete a full day of family music entertainment. “Dustin has been touring with Luke Bryant this year, so we feel lucky to get him for our festival in his very busy schedule,” reports Christine Campbell, Carmus promoter.

Saturday day music events include a battle of the bands titled, Band Jam Battle, in which the winning band will receive various prizes. Saturday evening includes classic rock, Journey Former Lead Singer Steve Augeri, and with headliner southern rock group, Molly Hatchet. Promoter Campbell states, “We are excited about Steve Augeri, as he was the first official replacement for original lead singer Steve Perry with Journey, and performed for eight years with the band, recording platinum albums during his tenure. There isn’t any better southern rock band in the entire world then Molly Hatchet, and we are excited to have them in Southern Idaho at Carmus Jamboree 2015 USA Festival. Did you know that Bobby Ingram, leader of the group, recently graduated from Law School?”

Carmus Promoter Christine Campbell comments, “We have two nights for different crowds. Friday night is geared for families and Saturday night is targeted to classic rockers. These bands are absolutely terrific! We are also launching opportunities for talented singers and local bands to receive recognition through “Sing It On” and “Band Jam Battle” competitions. It has also been exciting to work with three well respected music directors who are helping with our 200 member initiative Carmus Christian Choir, who will sing back up on three songs for The Nashville Tribute Band.”

Can someone explain ... why would you use someone else's vocals to promote your band/gig's appearance ?
Just thinking maybe ...you might want to promote yourself ???

Use a sound byte from their time in the band or use a sound byte from their solo gigs.
Don't know who's responsible, whether it's PR people or managers..but c'mon...get a clue..false advertising.
