Trial By Fire

Postby GrandIllusionist725 » Sat Jun 06, 2015 3:35 am

I was curious, but was Trial by Fire ever released on vinyl? I thought I had seen something about it a while back, but have come across nothing. I have searched for it through Google, Discogs, etc. But no record of it.

Also, what about For the Love of Strange Medicine? Same results there.

The Medicine album was definitely released on vinyl. I ordered a copy of it via a record collector's catalogue around a year after the CD release. I still have my unopened copy gently tucked away in my record cabinet. I believe that TBF was also released on vinyl, but I don't have a copy of that one. I think I remember seeing it at a record collector's show in the late 90's. This was all before Amazon, Ebay and Youtube made bootlegs and rare pieces easy to find, so I would spend a lot of time (and money) at record collector shows. TBF was probably out of my budget at the time.

I'd love to see photos of that Strange Medicine vinyl.

I don't think TBF ever had a vinyl release, I've certainly never heard of or seen one, and there's nothing listed on Discogs, which is a pretty good resource for those types of things.

My house is currently upside down due to some renovation. As soon as I'm able to get to my album collection, I'll post photos of the Medicine album.

Yeah, i usually use Discogs as a good source, and never see anything about TBF. Even Medicine doesn't exist on there, but I know the vinyl exists somewhere out there, and I cannot wait to see a picture of it! :)

Almost done putting things back where they belong in our house...just went through a kitchen renovation, so my old record cabinet was blocked by all kinds of stuff temporarily placed there. I should have access to the cabinet in another day or so!

Silly question, but how do I post images on here? Never done it before.

I remember a discussion years ago about this subject and if memory serves, it was released on vinyl but only in Japan. Don't know if this is true but that's what popped into my head when I read the OP.
