Wondering aloud here, as I peruse the band's web site and see that beyond the Hollywood Bowl show next weekend, all the forthcoming dates are in Canada. Does anyone know what the reason is for this routing? Did the Vegas residency prohibit some other U.S. dates contractually? Just seems odd that they're doing L.A. and no where else. Is Hollywood Bowl the Santana double bill?

Don't know the answer to your questions, but I am excited that they are coming to Canada, especially to the east coast.....I will finally be able to get to a Journey concert!!

I believe its because they have not played many of these cities in years, way back in the Steve Perry days. There are quite a few locations that they have never played before, so it will be interesting to see the reception/interest in Journey.

With that said, it looks like they might be doing some U.S. dates in fall. I see they are playing the Warfield in San Fran.
