I wonder if Neal will be on Rockline to promote his "Vortex" album? I hope so!

Somewhat of an ominous answer to the question about Deen's status.

Neal sounds like he is in a good place, despite the obvious dampening effect of the problem with Deen. He has accomplished a lot recently, and I think he has a lot to be proud of as an artist. The Hollywood performances were fresh and the orchestra really worked, his solo album Vortex is just huge and I think his magnum opus, and I have a feeling the Santana project is going to be a classic.

What was said, if anything, about Deen?

Neal said he believes Deen, innocent till proven guilty and that time will tell on his future with the band. I didn't get the ominous vibe at all.

What else could he have said? I believe Neal is sincere, while he is going to presume innocent until proven guilty, it doesn't sound like he's ready to nail Deen's future with the band shut just yet. I looks bad, I'll admit it, but what if it turns out not so bad. As the artist, I still like Deen in the band. If he is convicted I will be able to understand why he won't be in the band. Journey has a lot of female fans.
