I don't think this comment adds any clarity to the situation. For all we know, Deen is referring to being currently kicked off the tour. You don't know, I don't know, and Deen is such a mess I doubt he knows either.

“Loss of my job. Loss of my freedom. Probably the hardest thing that I’m dealing with now is the loss of a woman I felt I was going to spend the rest of my life wife,” he said.

It was also revealed that a private investigator planned to use a drone and surveillance cameras to follow the alleged victim, but the plan was thwarted by Castronovo’s attorney when he found out about it.

One of Castronovo's former wives, Julie Castronovo, pleaded with the judge on behalf of the couple's 10-year-old son.

"I would just much rather him visit - be able to visit - his dad in a rehab facility than to have to take him to jail to visit his dad," she said.

There is something so tragically ironic about seeing Deen's arms and legs shackled ... those same limbs that would so feverishly pound a drum kit. That was hard to watch. I do wonder what Steve Perry thinks of all this... the two Journey members that entered in his stead, Augeri and now Castronovo, both burned themselves out (albeit in very different ways). But I suspect this was part of what he feared when it called it quits. He must have seen his life spiraling out of control in a dangerous way. And he decided to reconnect with that part of himself that was grounded and safe.

I'd be more likely to feel there was some hope for the man if he had stated that he had an addiction which caused his life to spiral out of control. Drones. Job loss. Family visitation seems to me to be distractions. Making a life with the woman he wants to be his wife just makes me feel he is still obsessing about her. He still seems like he is trying to get sympathy for his problems. Thumbs down. Maybe he said something about the fact that he got addicted to meth and his life went to shit and I didn't see it; then I'd might have a different reaction to his words. He did mention it.

Hope Deen accepts / uses the help he is given, for recovery.
If he truly wants to recover, more creditability to him ... give up your meth dealer.
If you've ever been to a 'cook' site... with the
chemicals that go into it...why would you even introduce it into your body
Part of their rehab ought to include taking them to an active 'cook' site, w/o
a respirator w/o any protection and let them breathe in the damn fumes and
see the poisons the shits made of.
