The trivia question was "Who hand picked Gregg's replacement? " Many answered Gregg himself, or Herbie, and "journey " replied to every answer that "Neal picked Jon, and Gregg agreed. "

That's not what I remember, I thought Gregg suggested Jon himself. Am I wrong?

The way that I had always heard it was that Gregg recommended that they hire Jonathan.

Remember it was Neal who picked Steve Perry and Herbie agreed.

Journey - Answers are - Neal suggested to all in the band and Herbie that Jonathan take Gregg's place when Gregg bowed out.
He had been hanging with Jon and jamming after hours on tour when the Baby's opened for JRNY. Gregg did agree with Neals choice.

Neal found Arnel by listening to hundreds of lead singers on YouTube. He punched in male rock - R&B singers and when he heard Arnel's pipes he knew right away he was the man for the job. Now ARNEL is going on his 9th year with the band and has been there the longest of Any lead singer.


Journey - Yes Arnel and I are starting to write he has no limitations and neither do I ....
