You'd think that an accomplished musician and songwriter like Cain would have enough brain cells to see through a political circus

It's all coming together in 2016. America hasn't been great since Steve Smith was on drums for Journey. And look what we have here in 2016 - Steve Smith back on drums. Cain will have time for the tour in 2016, which ends on August 30, and then jump in the race for the final two months. Works out perfect! Trump/Cain '16.

I'll you another thing. If a couple things fall our way, we could be looking at a Reaganesque 49 state landslide in November.

As if our American politics is NOT a circus without Trump? Give me a break. Let people have their political views. Who cares? And we already have a the circus thread upstairs, why taint the music forum with politics?

I always wanted to see Cain on 'Celebrity Apprentice'. Thought he'd have done well.
Schon and/or others could have made a few guest spots for donations or whatever.
And if Cain made it to the finale, then maybe Journey plays the last show too.

Good to see that not all musicians tilt left, something some on here can't wrap their heads around. Trump would make a fine POTUS if elected, nothing to be scared of people, unlike Hillary.

I'm not a Trump supporter, but the thought of Hillary (and Bill) in the WH again revolts me.

I'm actually happy with the recent public exchange of words between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. Normalized relations with Russia would make a positive difference throughout the entire world.

Considering his current wife said one of the or the prayer at the Inauguration, and he's become "saved" or found his religious beliefs again after many many years... this probably shouldn't be all that surprising.

His wife is Trump's " spiritual advisor ", and she said a prayer at the inauguration... which he put out on FB and Twitter...so it really isn't a surprise where his politics lie.

He said in a recent interview that Journey as a band are not political, but as a private person, he obviously is.
