Thanks for the links! Takes me back to last summer, seeing him play them on their tour.

Great stuff, thanks Tater.

I LOVE Vortex. My only criticism is about the mix. As much as I love Steve Smith, I think his drums were competing and even sometimes overpowering Neal's guitar on a lot of the tracks. I think the overall sound would have been stronger if the drums were turned down just a tad. A better blend if you will... Otherwise great stuff! More evidence of the unique chemistry between Schon and Smith.

I'm hoping Steve's return to Journey for the tour evolves into a recording session for a new album. Really appreciate Neal recording for the sake of recording. As this documentary pointed out, he's doing it to be an artist, not to make money. You have to admire that.

Thank you Neal!

Started watching it. Seemed to quickly turn into another thinly-veiled effort to promote Michaele Salahi. Sorta like the Resonate music video. Yawn.

Noticed that, TNC. But I must say I haven't seen Neal - or Jon for that matter - this happy and content in years. Let's hope this means the music will soar as high as their hearts this year. Great shows and maybe some new music.
