This is a really good listen... Neal says some interesting stuff. Hopefully everybody is on board.

Neal is my fucking hero. God bless you Neal, thanks for all the great music. There isn't a day goes by that I don't listen to something you've done.

Thanks for posting George. Everything Neal said made my day.

I'm not able to listen to it.
Can someone please give me some of the highlights of what Neal said?
Any comments on a new album?

It sounds like Neal wants to make the concerts fun, but whomever this "rest of the band" guy is doesn't.

Idk what the bands problem is, it wasn't that long ago when they used to make changes to the set list more frequently. Now they always go out and do the same shit over and over again.

Neal wants to add some surprises and keep things fresh.. It makes no sense why anybody would object to that.

If there's any one band member that's preventing the band from experimenting with the set list, it's obviously Cain. Cain is dead set on it being nothing but hits in the set list. Why in the hell should Cain care if casual fans of the band go to the bathroom or to buy a beer during non-hit-songs? Those are things that a lot of people have to do at some point during the show anyway. Plus, the ticket was already paid for anyway. Personally, I would choose to go to the bathroom or to buy food/drinks during the one-billionth performance of "Faithfully" or "Lights" than during a Rocker that wasn't a hit.

I could take this entire paragraph and apply it to Ross Valory too. The man just stands onstage barely moving and makes stupid faces the entire show. No stage presence. Seems like he never cares.

Cain has a very outdated perception of the band and the industry. He frets like a ninny over Eclipse's album sales. I still remember after Arrival flopped, he wanted the band to stop making new tunes altogether. Journey was re-formed in 1998 to prove the doubters wrong. Neal still has that fire. Cain clearly doesn't or never had it.

Start the concert with some hits and then go crazy for an hour jamming and then end the concert with some hits. There is your concert for you! :D
