Would have liked to hear what Journey could have done with track 8.

Thanks for the link, I was wanting to hear his new music. He sounds pretty good, a couple of the songs are very nice. Good for him, I hope it does well.

Say Goodbye, track 8 sounds right off Eclipse, any sounds really good, wonder who wrote it. If Arnel w/o Cain or Schon, they should let him write more.

If Say Goodbye was an Eclipse track, which it sure sounds like, its sad the very boring City of Hope made the cut and this didnt.

My opinion:
It's a good first effort. He has some decent stuff going on in the ballads, but I get a disconnect between some of the lyrics and melodies. Like he's trying to jam them in to fit.

Not seeing the attraction to Say Goodbye myself. Sounds like a Broadway singer fronting royal hunt. Sorry, but Arnel is not a rocker. That was one of the problems with Eclipse for me. Arnel has good pipes, but he cannot sing the phone book. He's not a fit for all types of music.
