This is interesting. Jon Bon Jovi always does Runaway tours, and the band-Bon Jovi has a few booked in the near future. Theyve had in the past Don Henley, Rob Thomas and some other artists do Runaway Tours before too. It's very pricey. Now I guess Journey is signed on to do one. .

Usually runaway tours involve a private performance by the artist, a Q&A session with the artist, meet and greet with the artist, and a bunch of parties and receptions.

That would be a fantastic night of music! Maybe they would play a few deeper cuts, not just the DD. One can dream.

If you pay that kind of money, they will play Mary Had a Little Lamb if you want to hear it. :D

If the price included a plane ticket (first class) and free shuttle, maybe.

though i am very jealous for those that get to hear "Troubled Child" live for the first time, but I assume many will take a beer/bathroom run during it.

Wonder what songs they will play in addition if any, if only 3 would have to be lights, LTS, and AWYWI.

I think it would be smart to open the show with AWYWI & WITS- get the crowed pumped, then do all of escape and frontiers. After Rubicon (last song on frontiers) close the show with Lights & LTS. Or some combination of 4 other hits that are non Escape & Frontiers.

I just think it will be weird opening the entire show with DSB, and especially stranger closing with Rubicon, so you have to play some hits before DSB & after Rubicon.

It will be interesting to see how it will all play out, considering Journey hasn't done a 20+ song set list in some years now.
