Obviously that's better than nothing. But it's still pretty insane that that is the most that they will do. No excuse not to record an entire new album.
A few weeks ago I was listening to an interview that Gregg Rolie did on Rockline back around 2000 or 2001 I think. He had just released his "Roots" CD, and he was talking about how the whole album was recorded on a very low budget and how cheap it is to make a new album anymore. His album sounded great. You'd never know that it was done on a low budget.
If I recall correctly, I think that it was recorded in his own little home studio or something like that?

I can't believe they wouldn't have coordinated an album release with the HOF induction.

Cain has been talking about EPs ever since Arrival flopped. Then their EP, Red 13, flopped even harder.
